In Just Schools, Dr. Ann M. Ishimaru explores how schools can build more equitable forms of collaboration with families and communities. In her introduction, Dr. Ishimaru writes, “We stand at a crossroads in the relationship between families and schools. . . . A reimagining of the fundamental relationship between families, educators, and schools seems both elusive and, at the same time, never more crucial and relevant.”
