Shaun Streyle is the superintendent of the Delta/Greely School District and is primarily responsible for professional development, instruction, curriculum, and everything related to instruction in the school district.
Shaun began his career in education in rural Alaska. He first spent eight years in the Bering Strait School District before moving on to the Copper River School District as a teacher, principal, and then Assistant Superintendent which led him to his current position.
Throughout his career, Shaun has been interested in what he calls “personalized education with relevancy” which he describes as “making every student's education tailored to where they're at academically but also tailored to their interests and building on that. By the time they get to high school, it's all about career fields and meeting the strengths and gifts of their talents.”
