Larry Francois serves as the NWESD Superintendent, one of nine Educational Service Districts in Washington State. Prior to being hired at the NWESD, Larry served for eight years as superintendent in the Northshore School District.

Larry has also served in the Lakewood, Edmonds, Mukilteo, and Snohomish school districts as a Superintendent, Human Resources Director, Skills Center Assistant Director, and Assistant Principal, respectively. Larry began his career in education as a high school teacher in the Edmonds School District and secured his first administrative position as a high school assistant principal in the Lake Washington School District.

Francois completed his undergraduate work at the University of Washington, Masters in Educational Administration at Western Washington University, and superintendent’s credential program at Washington State University. Larry and his wife, Julie, have three adult children and find their greatest pleasure in life spending time with their granddaughter.
